Join us at the brewery on Saturday, May 11th, from 1-3pm with expert dog trainer, Peter Ciancarelli, who will demonstrate the simple and effective method of utilizing a long line to get your dog ready to be your off-leash adventure companion. The Long Line is a quintessential yet overlooked tool to quickly train your dog as your outdoor adventure buddy! We will show you how!
The Run Down
We will focus on developing a reliable recall, handler focus, and perfecting trail etiquette. All three of these are the essential builing blocks for a well-behaved and under-control off-leash dog. The objective of this workshop is to help dog owners develop skills with effective tools to feel comfortable taking their dog on outdoor adventures while developing skills to eventually have them off leash reliable.
Pre-Event Check List
-Must be at least one handler for every dog (training will not work if one owner brings multiple dogs)
-15-20ft long leashes should be brought by the attendees (a few will be available for purchase if needed)
-Good quality e-collars are very much welcomed and you will be shown how to utilize them safely and effectively
-Please wear close-toed shoes (we will be in a field and walking quite a bit)
-Bring a high-value food reward for your dog
Tickets are $60 for one person and one dog, and includes a beer or wine of your choice!
Access to the outdoor area of the brewery will be available after the training session where beer can also be purchased by all over the age of 21!

This event is not intended as an aggression/ behavior modification workshop, therefore no dogs with a bite record on either dogs or humans can attend this event.
