Private Event Rentals on Our Farm

At Russell Family Farms and Buzzards Bay Brewing, we offer you and your guests a unique coastal farm experience. Our farm has over 300 acres of permanently preserved working farmland and over 100 acres of protected woodland. With expansive lawns and gorgeous rolling hills of working land, there’s plenty to explore in both flavors and views.

All events are 4-hour rentals, with an additional 30 minutes before and afterward for setup and cleanup.

We have two indoor areas and one outdoor rock garden available to rent for your private event.

The first of our indoor spaces is The Kettle, our 1600-square-foot barn with gloriously windowed garage doors, a bar, and a wide variety of seating options. The Kettle can accommodate 90 guests and is available for rental year-round. Rental is limited from May through October to weekdays: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. We offer 4 to 5 beers (an ever-changing selection) and wine from our sister company across the farm, Westport Rivers. Your event rental of the Kettle includes a bartender and access to our luxury loo.

Seasonally (in the warmer months), we offer The Warehouse for up to 60 guests. It’s in, you guessed it, our warehouse! This unique space features plenty of seating, a shuffleboard, a bumper pool table, a classic gaming console, and a wide variety of board and table games. You and your guests can grab beverages from our open tap areas. The luxury loo is open for you as well.

Our outdoor Magnolia Rock Garden can be reserved for you and up to 60 guests from spring through autumn. It’s a lovely rock garden and lawn area where you can put up a small tent if desired. The space can accommodate eight 6-person picnic tables. You and your guests can grab beverages from our open tap areas. The luxury loo is open for you as well.

Some Important Policies

• We don’t host weddings or wedding-related events.
• No outside alcohol or beverages are allowed.
• A 50% deposit and signed rental agreement are necessary to book your event.
• If a food truck is on-site, we highly prefer that you utilize it; otherwise, we allow food from one of our approved food suppliers. A list of these will be supplied as needed.
• We don’t allow balloons, glitter, confetti, or anything that makes a mess.
• We have a carry-in, carry-out policy. All items and food brought in by or for your party must be taken with you when the event is over. The rental room should be left the way you found it.
• Depending on the area rented, different seating options are available, including picnic tables and high tops with stools. We work with you to ensure a perfect layout for your event.
• Music: We are in an agricultural, residential area with valued neighbors. We avoid loud music at all costs to preserve our neighborhood peace. However, we have amplified Bose Bluetooth speakers available if you have a playlist. If you’d like to hire a musician, we only allow acoustic musicians, and all acts must be pre-approved by us.
