Private Event Rentals on Our Farm
At Russell Family Farms and Buzzards Bay Brewing, we invite you and your guests to experience a truly unique coastal farm setting. Our property includes more than 300 acres of permanently preserved working farmland and over 100 acres of protected woodland, offering expansive lawns, rolling hills, and endless views to explore—both in flavors and scenery.
All private events are booked as four-hour rentals, with an additional 30 minutes before and after for setup and cleanup.
We currently offer The Taproom (indoors and 21+) and the Magnolia Rock Garden (outdoor and all ages) for private event rentals, each providing its own distinct atmosphere and charm.
We’re excited to announce a new event space coming in 2026—designed to host larger private celebrations and corporate gatherings. This additional space offers expanded capacity and flexible layouts for a wide variety of events. Stay tuned for details as our plans take shape!(21+)
The Taproom (21+)
Tucked inside our historic barn, The Taproom offers a cozy, rustic setting perfect for smaller gatherings of guests 21 and older. With space for up to 45 people, it features its own private bar serving beer and wine, along with a private restroom for your group’s exclusive use.
Dart games and old-timey bar games add a touch of nostalgic fun to the warm wood accents and farmstead charm. A gas parlor stove brings a soft, flickering glow on chilly days, making wintertime gatherings especially inviting.
The Taproom is available for rental year-round—ideal for celebrations, meetings, or relaxed get-togethers with friends.

Magnolia Rock Garden
Our outdoor Magnolia Rock Garden can be reserved for you and up to 60 guests from May through September ONLY. It’s a lovely rock garden and lawn area where you can put up a small tent if desired. The space can accommodate eight 6-person picnic tables. You and your guests can grab beverages from our open tap areas. The luxury loo is open for you as well.

Coming in 2026
We’re thrilled to introduce a new space for private tented events, opening in 2026. Designed for larger gatherings and corporate celebrations, this area features a private parking area, a dedicated bar, and endless opportunities for creative event design. Surrounded by the beauty of our coastal farmland, it’s the perfect blank canvas for your next unforgettable occasion.

Some Important Policies
- We don’t host weddings or wedding-related events.
- No outside alcohol or beverages are allowed.
- A 50% deposit and signed rental agreement are necessary to book your event.
- If a food truck is on-site, we highly prefer that you utilize it; otherwise, we allow food from one of our approved food suppliers. A list of these will be supplied as needed.
- We don’t allow balloons, glitter, confetti, or anything that makes a mess.
- We have a carry-in, carry-out policy. All items and food brought in by or for your party must be taken with you when the event is over. The rental room should be left the way you found it.
- Depending on the area rented, different seating options are available, including picnic tables and high tops with stools. We work with you to ensure a perfect layout for your event.
- Music: We are in an agricultural, residential area with valued neighbors. We avoid loud music at all costs to preserve our neighborhood peace. However, we have amplified Bose Bluetooth speakers available if you have a playlist. If you’d like to hire a musician, we only allow acoustic musicians, and all acts must be pre-approved by us.
